The tools behind your event

Start small, make it yours

Prepare a Starter catalog of up to ten items. Add your event story, approved photos and clear donor terms.

Welcome local and remote guests

Share the event link or printable item QR cards. Guests browse and bid in their mobile browser after signing in and authorizing a card.

Keep the handover simple

Track purchase status and collection. Your team stays responsible for the items, pickup arrangements and finance reconciliation.

Your event, step by step

Choose silent, live or hybrid when you create the auction. Hybrid is the format for silent bidding followed by a live session.

  1. Choose your shared goal

Confirm the beneficiary, event owner and seller. Give the community a clear explanation of what the fundraiser supports.

  2. Gather a focused catalog

Get donor permission, photos and restrictions. Start with a manageable number of approved items and realistic starting prices.

  3. Invite your community

Share the event link, opening and closing times, sign-in instructions and payment expectations through your own communication channels.

  4. Plan collection together

Set pickup hours and a help contact. Verify payment status before recording handover and reconcile the seller records afterward.

Questions for your event

Do we need to be a registered charity?

Community groups can plan an auction, subject to eligible seller verification and applicable requirements. A fundraiser does not automatically qualify for charitable tax receipts; OutbidX does not automatically issue them.

Can we try a small auction first?

Starter is CAD $0 per month for one active auction with up to ten items. Successful-sale platform fees and Stripe processing fees apply. Current payments are TEST only, so contact us before a real-money event.

Will OutbidX find donors or bidders for us?

Your team sources the items and invites guests through its own community. OutbidX provides catalog, bidding, payment-status and pickup tools; it does not guarantee attendance or proceeds.
